Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Vaginal Infection
Question: Hello,
So I am a little concerned. My vaginal area has been sensitive lately. I had intercourse a few days ago after about a year and half of celibacy so I figured the "soreness" would go away. However, it hasn't. As I was taking a shower this morning I noticed white tissue like substance around and in my vaginal area. Not to sound gross but I inserted a finger into my vagina a few times and each time the white paper like substance kept coming out. What do I do?

Can I try a yeast infection over the counter medicine before visiting the doctor? I tried to respond with this earlier but not sure if it went through.
Brief Answer:
Please use medicine after consulting doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Better to use any medicine after consulting your doctor and confirming the diagnosis.
Because using on counter drugs without confirming the diagnosis can lead to side effects, complications like development of drug resistance by the infective agents etc.
