Brief Answer:
Could be Viral infection of the upper respiratory tract...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The symptoms described by you seem to be related to the viral infection of the Upper Respiratory Tract,

Do not worry! Viral infection is usually self limiting with appropriate measures, this can be taken care of.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water. Warm water increases the blood circulation and helps in fighting against the viruses.
2. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. Steam decongests and opens the nose and sinuses. Once the sinuses get opened the headache will subside.
3. Use saline nasal spray. Saline works in a similar way as mentioned above and helps in easy clearing of nasal secretions.
4. An antihistamine and a mucolytic, available over the counter can help in reducing sneezing and mucus production.
5. For headache, try taking OTC pain relievers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac.
6. Avoid smoking, coffee, chilled food and beverages.

Hope with these measures you should get better. Revert back to me if you have any follow up queries.

Brief Answer:
Burning sensation is due to dryness of nose

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome back

Burning sensation in the nose is because of the dryness of the nose caused secondary to the usage of steroid nasal spray. This is a normal problem with usage of the steroid nasal spray. I would advise you to use saline nasal spray along with steroid nasal spray, to keep the nasal mucosa moist. Use this spray as frequently as possible.

Usage of saline spray will also reduce nasal block and thus the dryness of the throat during morning hours.

Finally, drink adequate quantities of warm water to keep the mucosa moist.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. I wish you good health and speedy recovery.
