Suggest Treatment For Synovial Cyst In Spine
Question: I went to the doctor and he said i have sacks of spinal fluid next to my disk. I'm not sure how seiorus this can be. Is it possible to have nerve damage if they get larger and how do they develop?
Brief Answer:
Probably synovial cysts.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Your Doctor probably meant that there are synovial cysts found in your spine.
A synovial cyst is a fluid-filled sac that develops as a result of degeneration in the spine.
It may cause spinal stenosis, but generally it is a benign condition.
When no or mild to moderate symptoms ( mainly pain ), follow up, painkillers and physical activity restrictions are the treatment modalities.
If significant symptoms, spine surgery ( decompression and fusion ) is necessary.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Greetings.
Probably synovial cysts.
