Suggest Treatment For Testicular Pain And Lumps Near Testicles

Question: Dear Doc,

I have a history of testicular pain and have done atleast 4 ultra sound and checkup with no results. Lately I have been noticing two lumps near the testicles during erection. This goes off after I ejaculate or when erection goes . Is there something to be concerned about ?

Hello
Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in testicles and have noticed lump just near the testicle whe penis is erected which goes off after ejaculation .

Considering the long history of your symptoms it looks to be Chronic Infection of Epididymis ( Chronic Epididymitis) r second possibility is Spermatocele with live communication with lumen of Epididymis which gets filled with spermatic fluid on erection and gets emptied during ejaculation .
This can be confirmed only by doing ultrasound Scanning of the scrotum on erection and after ejaculation..

In Chronic Epididymitis is very difficult for diagnosis to be established and eradicated completely and one needs to take antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs as and when it gets flared up.

Do not worry it is not a serious issue and continue taking antibiotic and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac .
