Meralgia Paraesthesia.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
Your history is suggstive of a condition known as Meralgia Paresthesia.
It is a type of pinched nerve.
This is not a symptom of cervical issues. And yes, diabetics are prone to it.
Sleeping on any kind of floor is not related to it, but yes, if you have back pain issues, you should sleep on hard mattresses.
Carry on with exercises for cervical and back.
As far as treatment of Meralgia Paresthesia is concerned, initially I would advise you to do hot fomentation with hot water bag and apply local gels like Volini over there.
If this persists even after 7 days, I would recommend treatment with a combination of Pregabalin and Methylcobalamine.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Take Megadol only if you get pain.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
You had that unsteady walk probably because of Megadol.
I would advise you to take it only if you have pain.
Meralgia Parenthesia is not diagnosed on Xray or MRI.
I would recommend you to do hot fomentation and go for physiotherapy. Pain killers provide transient symptomatic relief but basic cause is not resolved.
Correct posturing, regular exercise, are key to get permanent relief.
So, don't take Megadol tonight.
Keep it bedside. If you get pain , you can take it.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
