Suggest Treatment For Throat Bleeding Caused By A Deep Ulceration
Question: i scratched my throat last night and it had a little bleeding i can see the scratch on my throat

If there is a deep ulceration then superimposed infection should be prevented. The area which was injured in the throat (palate or pharynx or tonsil) needs to be examined. Local oral antiseptic should be applied. If there is bleeding then local pressure can be applied by the ENT doctor with a sterile gauze piece. Antibiotic course of a drug such as amoxicillin plus clavulanate would be needed for prophylactic cover.
