Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection While Breastfeeding

Question: Hello Doctor

This query is for my wife. She is regularly feeding 6 weeks old baby boy. Since yesterday, she is having mild throat infection. What are safe medicines that she can take so it doesn't harm the baby. Please advise. Let me know if any further information is needed.

Any fever?
Any nasal blockage or discharge?

Hello Doctor,

She is having minor pain while swallowing food item. Cough is there but not much. No fever yet. No nasal discharge or block age as of now. Attached is throat image.

Thanks for the information. i have seen the picture. She is having pharyngitis.
Give her tablet cefixime 200 twice daily and tablet levocetrizine plus montelukast once daily. Do hexidine gargles and give tablet vitamin c once daily.
Give all for 5 days.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available only on prescription, so get them prescribed by a local doctor.
