Brief Answer:
Your symptoms seems consistent with acute pharyngitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thanks for writing back,
Your symptoms seems consistent with acute pharyngitis. A few measure from your side and you will be good to go
I would suggest you to do the following:
- use BETADINE GARGLE which is available over the counter, one tsp in one glass of water, and gargle every 4 hours.
- take plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration
- you may also use throat lozenges in the name of Strepsils as it helps in lubricating the throat and preventing further dehydration.
- steam inhalation will help to relieve any congestion.
Hope I have answered to your query
Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close and rate

Thank for ur feedback just one small query what is the food u shud eat and not eat, and can I have liquor today
Brief Answer:
its best for you to avoid liquor for a few days
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Thanks for writing back,
Personally I would suggest it best for you to avoid liquor for a few days as it might trigger an inflammation since the pharyngeal mucosa might be a little sensitive now.
* You can have foods which are warm and less spicy.
* You may have soup, chicken broth, porridge, rice etc, ie, foods that are bland and then can revert back to your normal diet within a weeks time.
* avoid smoking (if any)
Hope this helps
