Question: I have throat pain so took combiflam and azhithral. Throat pain is better but I am unable to eat anything now

Brief Answer: salt water gargling Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX At your age it is better to take plain paracetamol tablets rather than combiflam. Check the dose of paracetamol before you take it. Do warm salt water gargling 4 times daily, it really helps with the pain and swelling. Do not take antibiotics without the prescription of a doctor, it can be XXXXXXX Azithromycin is not the first line antibiotic for upper respiratory tract infection. Penicillin group of drugs are the prefered antibiotics. Drink lots of water and warm fluids. Avoid cold foods and airconditioning.
