Question: I was diagnose with asthma 4 years ago I would say. I ignored the treatment for a while because wasn't too bad. But I gad a few issues later with that. No short breathing just tightness and congestion. Anyway I started using on schedule flovent 110 mg. twice in the morning and twice in the evening. Plus the rescuer. The things is I stoped suddenly my inhalers for 4 days. Because left this in home and I was on a little break family reunion. Ok after. my chest started tightness lots of phlema cough. I resume my med but I notice my medication is not going further on my lung and tightness continue and Seems Flovent have a hard time not. So took prednisone 7 days and still I feel the tightness and no sure if is going through all to my lungs.,

Brief Answer:
tAKE YOUR MEDICINES REGULARLY AS ADVISED BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

You are having an acute exacerbation of your asthma. You need to be regular with your medications.

Take a short course of oral steroids like 40 mgm of prednisolone for 5 days. A course of antibiotics if you are having fever and the phlegm is yellowish in color will help. Nebulization with duolin + budecort respules and seroflo or symbicort inhaler instead of only flovent will.

Avoid exposure to extreme cold temp and dust and smoke. Consume warm beverages.

tAKE CARE.
