Suggest Treatment For Tingling In Fingers And Blurry Eyes
Question: I suffer from an anxiety disorder and haven't been moving around very much, but two wednesdays ago, after a very intense work out in my karate class, I turned my head and felt a weird sensation where I couldn't move my neck. My boss rubbed on the spot that hurt as a way to help for a couple minutes. The next day I was very stiff and sore but was fine by saturday. On sunday, I spent the entire day vacuuming my inground pool which was a long period of looking down, about 3-6 hours. On monday, about a half hour after I woke, my neck became very stiff again but worse this time. I couldn't lean my head back or to either side. The pain is strong on the back of my neck and on the right of my neck. I also have what feels like a lymph node in a few spots on the right of my neck and right above my collar bone (I'm not sure if this is the artery or not) there is a small, fixed lump that is hard. My doctor said that my muscles are just very, very tight due to physical excursion and stress but I am very worried about a vertebral artery dissection, which my doctor immediately dismissed. My anxiety is really setting in. I should also add that I get a splitting headache up the side and back of my head. Also my right shoulder is in pain as well, and sometimes feels like it's being ripped out of my socket. Going back to vertebral artery dissection, I know you can develop a stroke from it and I feel myself having symptoms such as feeling fatigued, like I am out of it, tingling in my fingers and toes and pressure under my left eye and sort of like my left eye is blurry but not completely however, I don't know if it is my anxiety as I can convince myself of symptoms. I'm more so worried.

I have gone through your query and previous discussion.
Vertebral artery dissection is usually precipitated by neck trauma or severe degree of neck manipulation.The symptoms of Vertebral dissection are neck pain with neurological deficit of posterior circulation origin. Symptoms may be psilateral facial dysesthesia (pain and numbness), dysarthria or hoarseness , contralateral loss of pain and temperature sensation in the trunk and limbs
Ipsilateral loss of taste,Hiccups,Vertigo, Nausea and vomiting,Diplopia, Dysphagia
Disequilibrium or Unilateral hearing loss. Rarely weakness of unilateral limbs can also occur.
In your case no such brainstem symptoms are present and pain in left eye is not in the vascular territory of vertebral artery.
I agree with your doctor and other doctors of HCM panel that the pain may be muscular in origin and will abate by taking pain killers , muscle relaxants, local application.
Even then i will advice you to re-visit your physician or a neurologist for proper evaluation if you have got additional progressive symptoms after your first visit.
Its no harm in being evaluated again and if needed you can be planned for MRI and MRA of neck vessels.
