Suggest Treatment For Tingling In Fingers And Blurry Eyes
Re-visit your doctor or neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I have gone through your query and previous discussion.
Vertebral artery dissection is usually precipitated by neck trauma or severe degree of neck manipulation. The symptoms of Vertebral dissection are neck pain with neurological deficit of posterior circulation origin. Symptoms may be psilateral facial dysesthesia (pain and numbness), dysarthria or hoarseness , contralateral loss of pain and temperature sensation in the trunk and limbs
Ipsilateral loss of taste,Hiccups,Vertigo, Nausea and vomiting,Diplopia, Dysphagia
Disequilibrium or Unilateral hearing loss. Rarely weakness of unilateral limbs can also occur.
In your case no such brainstem symptoms are present and pain in left eye is not in the vascular territory of vertebral artery.
I agree with your doctor and other doctors of HCM panel that the pain may be muscular in origin and will abate by taking pain killers , muscle relaxants, local application.
Even then i will advice you to re-visit your physician or a neurologist for proper evaluation if you have got additional progressive symptoms after your first visit.
Its no harm in being evaluated again and if needed you can be planned for MRI and MRA of neck vessels.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Do get back for further query.
Hope you recover early.
God bless you.
Regards
Dr Neeraj Kumar
