Question : Is it normal for your pulse to pound loudly in your head while exercising?
Brief Answer:
Yes it is
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Increase in pulse rate & bp after exercise & stress is a normal body response to increase the cardiac output.
This increased pulse can be felt in form of palpitation or pounding.
Still, I'll advice you for a TMT (Tread Mill Test) to see the ECG changes during exercise. If that is normal, than you don't have to worry.
If you have any more question, I'll be happy to help.
Thanks
Take care
