Suggest Treatment For Tiredness And Joints Pain
Question: My husband, 85, is complaining of tiredness, joint pain. He has recently changed his testosterone from Androgel to Axiron. Could this be it or should I be looking for more.
He broke his back 15 years ago and gets radio ablation of back nerves. His back pain is about a 7 now and we are scheduled to have the procedure next Friday. Could the back pain be causing the other joint pain?
Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Back pain and joint pain could be due to same cause.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I do not think that change in the brand of testosterone would cause such a problem. Rather, the same cause that causes the back pain (possibly osteoarthritis or something similar) is likely to be the cause of the joint pain. The back pain itself would not cause joint pains.
Feel free to write back.
