Suggest Treatment For Tooth Decay
Dentist way long back and got the teeth filled, however now the problem has started again.
improperly filled tooth
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for consulting HCM.
As per your query it can be a secondary caries (cavity).
Do you have pain in that tooth?
How long back did you get it filled?
Was it a RCT(root canal therapy) or normal filling?
In some cases of normal filling if the cavity is not cleaned and filled properly it can lead to progression of cavity under the filling.
Do you have pain or only sensitivity?
Do you have sensitivity only with cold stuff or cold and hot stuff both?
Don't worry In any of the condition your tooth can be saved.
Plz provide me the information i have asked for and i can help you with the right treatment plan.
You can also upload the xray image of that tooth.it would be a great help for me to come out with the exact treatment plan.
Meanwhile if pain is more you can take a painkiller like aceclofenac plus paracetamol.avoid eating from that side.avoid taking very hot and cold stuff.
Waiting for your reply.

Thanks for your reply.
I was not undergone for root canal therapy and it was a normal filling. Infact I had undergone for ceramic tooth filling which was about 4 years ago.
I do not feel the pain and also I don't consume much of cold or hot stuff.
Dental caries
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back.
Thanks for your information.
In that case its a normal cavity (enamel caries) and it can be filled in single sitting only.
If you have decay in another teeth also i would advice you to get it filled.please don't think that if the tooth is not paining its not the time to get it filled.if you see any decay or a hole in any tooth with no pain and sensitivity believe me that is the best time to get it filled before the cavity grows deeper and causes pain.
In your case if the tooth with ceramic filling is having the decay that can also be refilled easily.
I would advice you to visit a dentist and get the cavity filled.
Take care.
