Suggest Treatment For Toothache During Pregnancy

Question: Hi, I'm pregnant and normally pretty healthy...Im approaching my second trimester and my teeth have started bothering me. I got a bad toothache last night accompanied by a headache on that entire side of my face. I've been feeling a bit run down/on the verge of getting sick but I started worrying that I had some kind of bad tooth infection because I also experienced body pain and even heart palpitations last night! I am an herbalist and I used oregano oil which is a natural antibiotic to reduce the inflammation/infection and I feel better today just queasy. Is this normal?

Brief Answer:
infections in pregnancy are due to low immunity

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion pregnancy is a immunodeficiency state predisposing to infections.Though you got relief with herbal medicine I suggest you to see a dentist and get the examination done.Because if infection is there antibiotics might be needed. And if any procedure is to be done. 2 nd trimester is the best time.
My aim is not to make you tense but infections in pregnancy are to be cleared soon in pregnancy because they might lead to preterm labor and as the immunity is low in body they might exacerbate.
Maintain oral hygiene and brush twice daily.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to ask any more queries.
