Suggest Treatment For Trochanteric Fracture
needed immediate surgery
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.
At our clinic,we operate and fix such trochanteric fractures immediately after the trauma.
We do not allow it to heal on its own due to chances of incorrect healing.
In your case,if it has healed incorrectly, then you should get it corrected by surgery and then fix it with a screw and a plate.
I think,it was wrong decision to let it heal on its own initially.
If you had been operated at that time, you would have been fully recovered by now.
Anyways, its never too late. After surgery, you should be fine and walking.
I would be in a better position to guide you further if you could post the X rays (both old and recent one) here.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
