Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern
Long standing diabetes, specially if not well controlled can affect various organ systems like Nerves, Kidneys and eyes etc and cause symptoms related to these.
Cold feeling in the feet could be due to involvement of the autonomic nervous system due to raised blood sugar/uncontrolled blood augar.
I would advice that you see an endocrinologist or follow it up with your endocrinologist regarding strict control and monitoring of blood sugar.
If I was your treating doctor I would have added a Vit B12 supplement. Vit B12 (Methylcobalamin) is helpful in preventing and reversing early nerve involvement coupled with strict blood sugar control. Gabapentin/Pregabalin is also said to be useful in diabetic neuropathy.
Hope this information helps you
