Suggest Treatment For Unbearable Pain Caused Due To Broken Shoulder

Question: Hi Doc,
I need a repair to a broken shoulder ( acromonioplasty} spelling? Excuse ignorance.
The ortho surgeon wanted a clearance, ekg & stress test. Didn't pass either one. Dx infero lateral wall ischemia. Rx carvedilol 12.5 x 2 a day. Waiting on results of Ct of chest.
I just want my arm fixed , 9 months now, going crazy w/pain. Can't sleep! Is there anyway they can put me to sleep safely? Dumb question! I'll croak before I get the arm fixed! Thanx XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
High brachial block/Interscalene block will help
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. This type of surgery can be done high brachial /interscalene muscle block. In this only the concern shoulder and arm is anaesthetized ( painfree). You may discuss about this with your treating doctor/Anaesthetist and if they found that you are right candidate then surgery may be done.It is much safer than the general anaesthesia.
Hope your query is answered.
Take care
