Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroids

Question:
I have previously asked you about my wife's Fibroid problem in uterus.
Recently she did and D and C and is confirmed as fiborid problems.
she started taking mifeone 25 mg.
My query here is that many people says fibroid can not be treated thru medicine Removing uterus is the only option and should be done asap.. But my doctor says no need to remove, it can be cured with medicines . So I am little confused and so need your opinion. ( btw.. Her period started on time even after D and C is doen. There was no delay. Only change is that this time bleeding is less.)

Brief Answer:
Medical management advised
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The fibroids, if small, can be easily treated by medical management.
So, if the bleeding is less after D & C, then it is more likely that the menstrual irregularities will be normal after Mifepristone.
I will suggest her to continue the medical management for 4-6 months.
If no relief is there in this period, then she can go for hysterectomy or surgical removal of uterus.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
