Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Burning And Pain After Urination

Question: iam 43 year old woman. My period r regular. since 7 days i am suffering with vaginal burning and Sharp pain after urination. my doctor prescribe alkasol, fembio and cefakind cv 250. but all these providing temporary relief for few hours and my symptoms return again. do i need any other medication or it is something else.

What you are suffering is from urinary tract infection. I feel cefakind cv 250 may not be the drug to be used in such cases, however urinary antiseptics should be used. you may continue alkasol as advised , 2tsf twice a day for 5 days. BUt along woth it, you may stop the rest and start,
TB NORFLOX-TINIDAZOLE combination twice a day for 7 days ( complete course).

you would be relieved after 3 doses minimum.
