Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Fissure

Question: I have a vaginal fissure. Unfortunately gained after sex. My husband had looked at it and said that there is definitely I tear at the bottom left hand corner of my vagina. Is there any specific treatment that will make it heal quicker as its really getting me down
Brief Answer:
Liquid povidone iodine locally
Detailed Answer:
If the fissure is small and superficial, clean the area with plain water, make it dry with a dryer, apply liquid povidone iodine to the fissure and area all around to make at sterile. May heal within a few days. Take Multi-vitamins, it helps in early healing and gives strength to the scar. If there is redness or edema you may please take a few days course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines whichever suits you.
This is a rare problem to have at your age. Was there any specific problem you both think could have caused this, like a thinned out skin or some infection or less lubrication during the act ? This is important to know to avoid the recurrence.
