Suggest Treatment For Vertigo And Anxiety
Question: I had Lyme disease four years ago.. Was on intervenous antibiotics and things clear. About 4 months ago started getting this bad head tingling pressure and when I walk feels like the floor drops or moves .. Especially if I've been sitting for a while then try to walk. Went to gp and he says anxiety ( FYI I've had every test under the sun over the years because it took so long for the lyme to go away). Went to a neurologist who did in office test , mri no contrast, middle ear test (using water i ears) etc no problem found. I am struggling with the anxiety/panic diagram because the vertigo is so strange .. It can get to the point where I'm almost afraid to walk because the floor moving is so unsettling (kind of like when an elevator bounces) but it can happen over and over the whole time I try and walk.... But sometimes it goes away. Any ideas ?

Dear Sir ,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that in my opinion since you have already been investigated extensively and nothing has been found out it will be difficult to give you a diagnosis .Please get your vitamin B12 levels checked as sometimes its deficiency can lead to this kind of instability . Rest if it comes normal then probably I would also attribute it to anxiety. Cervical spondylitis should also be ruled out by doing X Ray cervical spine . Sometimes it can also give rise to anxiety .
I would advise you to discuss this with your treating doctor .
Take care.
