Brief Answer:
Have you ever had previous blood pressure readings?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this vertigo. I have reviewed your information and am a little concerned with your blood pressure. This is on the low side and may explain why you have vertigo. Low blood pressure would cause in addition to vertigo, dizziness, body weakness, fatigue, etc. If you have had previous blood pressure readings, please report them to me. Also, are you receiving any other drugs beside meclazine and singular?

However, computers do not cause vertigo. If you have reasons to suspect that this might be part of the reasons, evaluate and see whether you feel better when away from the computer and especially over the weekends when you are not working on the computer. If you feel real better, then they may be connected but as of now, there is no formal connection between working on the computer and vertigo.

For now, avoid dangerous environments where you can easily fall. I will suggest you avoid heights and slopes where you can easily fall as this may cause real damages.

I hop ethos helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. If there are specific issues you want me to touch on, let me know and I would address them.

I have been to the doctor with normal bp readings....114/75 and 120/80. With the former in mind...I was still suffering from vertigo, but it doesn't seem to be going away and my blood pressure readings have recently hovered around 105/54 and 100/55. I had my husband test the cuff we use and his in the range of 128/80 which is about what it was at the doctors today.

I am taking no other medication at this time

Brief Answer:
How do you feel when you are away from the computer?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the follow up details.

How do you feel when away from the computer and especially so over the weekends? Do you have this problem when you wake up in the early hours of the morning? I will suggest that you keep a diary for when these symptoms start and stop.

Having reviewed all this information, this is probably not linked to an organic cause. If it were a problem with the middle ear or the nerve that controls balance, it would be permanent and not on/off. There should be an environmental component that is a strong factor in this.

Record these more close and related activities each time you have this sensation for us to look at hoping to find a link and address. Let me know what your take is about this condition.
