Provide details and reports, get examined by a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Vertigo due to ear infection is usually due to involvement of inner ear leading to damage of labyrinthine apparatus.
The vertigo is usually severe initially but improves to some extent later on. At this age other causes of walking difficulties and swaying may also occur due to some vitamin deficiency, cerebellar atrophy.
You need to get clinically examined by a neurologist and then investigation and medication can be prescribed.
Vertigo exercises also helps to much extent.
Even dose of previous drug may be increased.
What all other medications and diseases are you having?
Provide all these details too.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back to me for further queries.

EKG, heart monitor, many blood tests, and doctors said for 90, except for normal aging, I was so healthy, they told me to go back to work. Went to ENT and had all wax removed from ears. Even went to chiropractor to assist me in getting normal balance. Balance holds for one day after visit, then it is back to wobbling again. This is not normal for me. Been working from 7:30 to 4:30 as exec. asst. for 33 years. Seeing doctor again Friday. Thought I could get some insight as to what I should discuss with her. I can't believe I cannot get my balance back. The only change the hospital made was to increase my heart rate from 52 to 60+.
Thanks for everything.

Hello,
If all blood investigation and Mri was normal then most probably the vertigo may be age related or damage to internal ear.
Improvement will occur to some extent with time.
Vertigo exercises for rehabilitation and some anti vertigo medication may also be helpful.
Discuss with your doctor about central or peripheral type of vertigo, Possibility of improvement and any further investigation required.
