Hi, thanks for your query.
Vertigo is a difficult disease to be diagnosed as well as treated as it has varied pathology. As a ent specialist, my views are on the peripheral vestibular lesion or the inner ear disease. good that your VNG is normal. but still you can have peripheral vestibular disorder. Drugs may not be needed at this stage. Vestibular rehabilitation exercises will surely be helpful to you. Consult with the physiotherapist and do these exercises. If symptoms persists, then please consult with neurologist and get evaluated about the central causes of vertigo . There is no over the counter drugs for dizziness. regular exercise may help you. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
