Suggest Treatment For Vertigo
Question: I had my first ever vertigo episode around XXXXXXX this year. I was then ok then about 4 weeks ago I started get symptoms of when I lay down slight dizzy and sometime standing but no spinning my lower part of face for the last few days has felt strange. There is no numbness. I do have a vitD problem. And I have felt very tired in the last 4 weeks. I am waiting on blood results and have an ENT appoint at the end of XXXXXXX Sort of want to know what it is now as I’m getting into such a state and looking a lot online and worrying the worst IE MS. Please can you help.

One possibility may be benign paroxysmal positional vertigo lasting for few seconds to minutes, postural and may be associated with vomiting.
Other possibility may be postural hypotension characterised by vertigo during standing from supine or sitting position with feeling of black out, palpitations and sweating.
Possibility of multiple sclerosis is less common with only presentation with vertigo.
But to diagnose multiple sclerosis it requires brain and spine imaging. other investigation may also be required.
Provide more details about vertigo.
Duration of vertigo, postural relationship, associated features, hearing impairment, gait abnormalities, facial numbness urinary complains.

Thank you for the response. Just a couple more questions. What would the strange sensation in my face mean. And can you tell me what the main symptoms are of MS as goggle is making me think allsorts. My symptoms is it possible they will correct themselves.

In my view with two episodes of vertigo and no objective sensory loss over face may be unlikely due to multiple sclerosis.
