Suggest Treatment For Visible Veins On The Penis

Posted on Tue, 5 Jul 2016
Question: Hi I'm a healthy 29 year old male who works out regularly. Lately I have been having trouble gaining an erection even with my girlfriend present. Last night I was finally able to achieve this and this morning I see where two blood vessels have broken in my penis. Is there any explanation for this? Or anything I can do to fix it?

Brief Answer:
These are dilated tributaries of Superficial Dorsal Veins of penis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed two dilated veins on dorsal aspect of penis and think them to be broken veins .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Was it a rough dry rough sex that you had yesterday night ?

First of all let me state that these are not broken veins as feared by you .Ant vein that breaks will present with bleeding and swelling with bruising of entire penis .

These are dilated tributaries of Superficial Dorsal Vein of penis and are seen as a prominent veins in many individuals and has no significance at all .

There is nothing to be done and not to be worried about at all.

As regards your problem of E.D it seems to be psychogenic in nature and will get resolved over a period of time .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.

Thank you for your quick response. It was not dry sex and it also was not rough. I have been more concerned with the E.D the previous four times I tried having sex. And when I saw the small black and blue spots the next morning I thought there might be a larger problem than just a mental issue. But it does sound like they are unrelated and everything you told me seems 100% accurate. Thank you!
