I am having numbness in my hand and leg (both left side) since a month now. I had consulted neurologists also for the same. Now that my reports of vitamins is here. Can you help me with what should I do? And what is the real origin of problem?
What medicines should I follow?
You will need supplements
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HealthcareMagic.
You have vitamin D and calcium deficiency. There can be many causes like nutritional deficiency, inflammation in intestines, renal disorders, liver disorders, low parathyroid levels, autoimmune, hereditary etc. Further tests are needed to find the cause.
You should take supplements of both vitamin D and calcium. Vit D is low and can be supplemented with a dose of 20,000 IU weekly alongwith calcium for one month and once in two weeks for 3 months. I usually prescribe medicines like keycal D XXXXXXX for the purpose. If you cannot find this, please check with your pharmacist to give you a good brand appropriate dose supplement for both Vitamin D3 and calcium together.
Hope it helps.

I can find two supplements in market, but not the one you prescribed
1. Cholecalciferol granules sachets 60000IU
2. Coecoral D3 capsules (Attached composition in photo)
Can I take anyone among them?
Doses need to be adjusted
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The doses need to be adjusted.
Take calcium sandoz 500 mg + cholecalciferol granules one-third XXXXXXX at a time. This will adjust the dose.

And how many months would I have to take these D3 granules to make the levels reach normal?
Usually is there any side effect of taking external D3?
No side effects in deficient people
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Calcium sandoz 500 mg per day.
Check again for blood levels of calcium and vit D after 3 months.
Normal levels are usually reached by 3 months.
It is a fat soluble vitamin and may have side effects on excessive accumulation in body. Excessive dose may cause spasm of a muscles or group of muscles, otherwise it is harmless. Excessive calcium may cause deposition as well and may cause kidney stones etc. But these side effects are seen in normal people. Deficient people benefit from it.
Hope it helps.
