Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Child
Question: Hello Doctor, my 9 year old son had started vomitting yesterday night. He did it twice and 2-3 times loose motion.
actually yesterday during day time, he took bath in hot water and after that came outside without wearing anything. so it can be the reason, not sure.
can you pls suggest for the same.

I would recommend you to take following measures to help him out:
1. Keep him well hydrated by regular feeds and oral rehydration therapy such as soups, lemonade, ORS, warm milk etc.
2. Give antiemetic such as ondansetrone or Domperidone for vomiting episodes.
3. Start zinc supplement such as Syp ZnD or Zinconia. It will help him in early recovery and further immunity against similar episodes.
