Suggest Treatment For Vomiting Caused By Severe Anxiety

Question: for about 15 years I have had problems with my esophagus clamping down on food and getting stuck. It is extremely uncomfortable and painful, and occasionally results in vomiting. It varies in intensity.
I was told I have a shatsky's ring, and I've had it stretched out twice during endoscopies. Two medicines I have taken, both with similar actions, have alleviated symptoms: buspar and Latuda. both are seratonergic agonists at the 5ht1-a receptor and are dopamine antagonists. When I take them I notice the symptoms disappear within a week.
Is there something about these properties that can affect smooth muscle like the esophagus? I don't think it's anxiety because SSRI's and klonopin have no effect.
I don't really enjoy these medications so I'm wondering if there's something else with similar actions.
Thanks,

Anxiety depression etc. I've never taken them together I'm just aware that they have this benefit for me. and I know they have similar modes of action.
Brief Answer:
Buspar and Latuda do not have muscle relaxing properties.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Buspar and Latuda do not have muscle relaxing properties.
So I do not think these medications would have provided relief from dysphagia.
If dysphagia is due to Schatzki's ring, dilatation is the only option.
If anxiety component is adding to dysphagia, that might have been alleviated by these medications.
