Suggest Treatment For Vomiting
Question: Dear doctor, my two year old daughter had 7 vomittings within 1 hour. Mostly water came out. We went to reputed hospital but no one attended. My father is a doctor and lives in another city. He suggested perinorm. Please guide

I would first of all advise you to avoid perinorm in such a small kid.
Vomitings that too so many needs to be evaluated.
I would like to know:
1. Since when is this happening?
2. Has your child passed flatus (gas) or stools? If no then since when?
3. Has she taken any outside food?
4. Colour and content of vomitus?
5. Any Fever, jaundice?
6. Any loose motions?
7. Any pain abdomen?

Dear sir, she did 7 times vomitting Ian span of 1 hour. We gave her gastica and then went to see a doc. Mostly water came out. Only small quantity of undigested food. I came to know that she ate digestive toffee, like hajmola without out consent in the evening. We guessed with the empty bottle which had only one tablet left of hajmola.
She does not have gas.

No fever
No loose motions
Slight pain in abdomen for the past one night

I suggest in such scenario Ondansetron syrup instead of Perinorm.
Also Simethicone drops like Colecaid can be given.
If she is not vomiting now just don't give her any medicine.
If she vomits in night just give her only 1Teaspoon full of Syrup Perinorm. In the morning if she vomits you can get her Ondem syrup and Colicaid drops.
If still her vomiting persists seeing a doctor would be a wise decision.
