default
Posted on Tue, 16 Feb 2016
Question: I have posted before, but have 1 or 2 more questions about hpv. I noticed a growth on my penis shaft about 10 months ago, and it was removed entirely for biopsy about 3 weeks ago. my dermotologist was not concerned and foes't foresee a return. Why might I have had just one, and id this possibly just a "light" case of hpv?

Brief Answer:
Common to have single wart in persons with good immunity

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your history.

The presence of a single wart in your case might be due to your good immunity and yours is a mild case of wart infection. It is common for some persons to present with a single wart.

Warts are a viral infection which have a tendency to spread in persons with low immunity, are immunosuppressed or having HIV infection.

I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to clarify any further doubts.

Dr Asmeet
