Suggest Treatment For Watery Diarrhea

Question: the diarrhea is like I'm urinating out of my butt
Brief Answer:
If no improvement should go to ER
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am sorry for the situation you are in.
Having diarrhea like passing urine is indicative for acute bowel infection (possibly viral) or food poisoning if it occurred right after consuming food/drink.
I advise to :
- take tasectan /pepto bismol to stop diarrhea
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- increase water intake with OTC ORS
- avoid foods that will aggravate diarrhea like oily, spicy, fried, coffee foods etc
If watery diarrhea won't stop in a couple of days, should go to ER for immediate evaluation and treatment.
Wish fast recovery!

Brief Answer:
Continue taking Aciphex&dyclomin,do not take equestrian...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Aciphex is containing Rabeprazole, a proton-pump inhibitor (PPI) that will help reduce heartburn.
Dyclomin contains dycloverine, an anti-cholinergic drug that will relieve the muscle spasms.
Equestrian light powder is containing cholestiramine that will increase removing bile salts from your body. I think at this moment, the cause of diarrhea is not because of fatty foods intake but to other infectious cause like viral gastroenteritis. Therefore, cholestiramine won't help much.
If I was your caring doctor would encourage to take the other medications (probiotics, tasectan or pepto bismol) as advised earlier.
Antacids will help reduce the heartburn immediately.
Wish fast recovery!
