Suggest Treatment For Weak And Bleeding Gums
Question: Hi Doc, XXXX this side. Right now I need your
advice for dental issue. I am going with ortho treatment since last 2 years for space issue. it's in last stages now. But the prob is my gums has been become very weak. Also,when I spit ..alot of blood is coming out not everytime only after taking out my braces.
I have shown my problem to a dentist and she has been advised me for deep cleaning and that will cost me around 3000. I need your advise for the blood related problem and weak gums plus the cost of cleaning whether it's advisable to go for that cleaning as they are charging very high .Is there anything like deep cleaning.

As far as the bleeding gums is concerned, this is because of the deposits below the gums leading to gum infection. Particularly during orthodontic treatment, it's not possible for you to maintain the oral hygiene because of braces. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. The deep scaling is required when the gums are weak, deposits below the gums and in case of receded gums.
Since you are telling there is bleeding and weak gums, it is better to get a deep cleaning done and maintain the oral hygiene thereafter.
Regarding the cost of the deep cleaning, it varies from 2000 to 3000 rupees.
