Suggest Treatment For Weakness And Gurgling Sound In Stomach After Polyp Removal
Question: Had a "large palop removed 4 months ago,stayed in the hospital a week. I'm still very weak & unstable & dirrea & girlgaling from my stomach area (colon,I presume). Am getting scared, don't seem to be recovering. Please help, thanks.

You are concerned about the continued weakness and diarrhea following a polyp removal. I am also concerned that you still feel this way. I would be concerned about still having anemia or an electrolyte imbalance. You should follow up with your medical provider and get additional lab testing specifically CBC and full chemistry.
In the mean tine I recommend drinking plenty of fluids. Avoid milk and milk products as they can cause diarrhea. To slow the diarrrhea take imodium OTC.
