Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Your weakness is due to the combined deficiency of VIT D as well as VIT B12.
Although weakness caused by deficiency of VIT B12 should be better in two weeks time but the deifiency of VIT D may take around 6 months or more to go.
Carry on with the treatment and do take calcium also along with VIT D.
In addition you must also get tested for diabetes and thyroid function tests,as these can also result in fatigue and weakness, since many people found deficient in VIT D may have deficient thyroid also.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Hello,
In addition to deficiency of VIT D and VIT B12,hepatitis E can also cause fatigue.
Your rest of the reports are normal although fasting blood sugar is slightly high and so ypu must take care of it by avoiding sugar and doing regular exercises. If careless, you may end up with diabetes after few years.
Carry on the treatment and wait and watch.
Thanks

Thank you doctor. Will avoid sugar and start exercise once this weakness turns off. This weakness is in the leg calves and arms. I am feared I am effected by TB or any other big disease due to this complete weakness in arms and legs. I don't have pain in any other parts of the body.
Hepatitis E, how much time does one take to recover ? can you please let me know . and should I get it tested again after a month or it will go off ?

Hello,
Don't panic yourself unnecessary as these are not symotoms of tuberculosis.
Hepatitis E gets cured in 4-6 weeks after onset of symptoms and in general it goes away completely.
In very few immunocompromised individuals,it can become a chronic infection.
You may get the investigation done after 2 months.
Thanks
