Brief Answer:
If it is temporary then nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
hi, thanks for your query.

First of all:
1. If you are on any drugs then let me know about it.
2. These symptoms can be due to any heart issues, so we have to rule out this. If you have gone through some investigations like EKG, 2D ECHO etc. then let me know.
3. These symptoms may be related to transient ischemic attacks. let me know if you have any brain imaging done. [do you have high BP, sugar or thyroid abnormality?]

I have gone through your previous premium question and I found out that, you have some anxiety issues and you are diagnosed as a migraine patient. Is it true?

I would like to know about the duration of the anxiety and migraine episodes. These symptoms may be because of increased anxiety or migraine episode. so it is very important for me to have detail history of symptoms and treatments you have taken.

Most important question: whether all these symptoms are related to some stressful matter? do they occur only after some distressing event?

I am waiting for your reply. do not forget to tell me about drugs and duration of symptoms.

Wishing you good health.

I have been taking butal-acet-caff 50-325-40 for migraines since 9/15/14 and propranolol 20mg since same date. former for migraines and latter for same and wht my pcp thinks is anxiety.
neuro previously prescribed sumperitan from memory its a blue pill for the migraines. Have not taken that one for a month.

The symptoms are not caused by anxiety I also have been having a lot of muscle weakness and at night I wake up with arms falling asleep numbness in both arms. this happens often.

mri was said to be normal when doen in er in july. went for 2nd neuro who also said it was fine. please help in figuring this out

Brief Answer:
Serum calcium and thyroid function should be done

Detailed Answer:
hi, thanks for writing gain.

Are you taking butal-acet-caff daily? yes then how many times? I feel there is no need to take it regularly.

In my patients of migraine I used to give Amytriptilyne 25 to 50 mg at night along with propranolol times release preparation in the morning. They benefit a lot.along with it sometimes also I use flunarizine 10 mg tablets.

Regarding your muscle weakness, as a last try, go for serum calcium, sodium and potassium and thyroid function tests.

because your all reports are within normal limits, your doctor think that these all symptoms are because of anxiety. Sometimes you cant track down the source of your anxiety, even you cant feel it. It is unconscious sometimes.

If all reports are normal then, accept that it is due to anxiety and migraine and take medications.

Go for the tests, I have asked here and discuss about the medications I have mentioned here.

I hope this will be beneficial to you.

Muscle weakness started after migraine or before? what about the numbness?
Waiting for your reply. Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
If investigations are normal, it is psychological

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

In our practice of psychiatric illness, we repeatedly came across patients whose symptoms seems to be neurological or cardiac origin but after investigations, they were sent to us for psychological evaluation.

You have gone through all tests and investigations, they all are normal.I am suggesting here you to visit a psychiatrist and tell your symptoms and other concerns. Don't be frustrated, it is common to have anxiety and depression. I

Visit a psychiatrist and discuss your problems, also discuss about the drugs I have mentioned in previous query. If you were my patient, after thorough evaluation, I would add SSRI antidepressant drug [escitalopram, which is safest of all and will work on your anxiety] to you.

The symptoms you are mentioning at night can be due to anxiety [panic attacks at night].

I hoe this will be helpful to you. If you have further query feel free to ask. Wishing you good health.

Go for the other investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

I feel that You must go for the investigations I have asked before and then revert back. I also would like to add Vitamin B12 and vitamin D. Kindly get all investigations which I have mentioned in earlier answer.
I told you that If your all test reports normal then it could be psychiatric illness like anxiety.

Do you experience these symptoms at night only or throughout the day?
How long do they last?
Do you feel that you will go crazy within few seconds?

Reply with the answers. Best of luck.
