CT WITH dye SHOWED 2 LESIONS 7.5CM AT NECK OF PANCREASE AND LIVER CYSTS. ENDOSCOPY YESTERDAY SHOWED DILITATION AT PANCREATIC DUCT, DIVERTICULOSIS, AND A POST GALL BLADDER REMOVAL OVER 20 YRS SHOWED A SURGICAL CLIP. DR'S REPORT SAID THIS: LINEAR EROSIONS IN GASTRIC ANTRUM AND BODY, BIOPSIED BY COLD FORCEPS. TWO LESIONS NOTED IN PANCREATIC HEAD AND PANCREATIC NECK , SAMPLED BY FNA. THERE IS GENERALLY NO ATROPHY OF PANCREATIC PARENCHYMA, HOWEVER, AND THERE IS NO COMPRESSION OR OBSTRUCTION OF THE CBD BY THESE LESIONS. THEY ARE WAITING CYTOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY RESULTS.ALSO FNA OF THE PANCREATIC NECK LESION. AND A 9.6MM INFERIOR PASNCREATIC LESION. MY CONCERN IS THE DR, DID NOT THINK I NEEDED TO WORRY, BUT I AM VERY CONCERNED. GUESS JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR PATHOLOGY AND CYTOLOGY REPORTS? AM 68 AND HAS A CEREBRAL HEMMORHAGE IN 2004 WITH A LEFT HEMIPARESIS. AM ON XARALTO FOR AN ARTIFICIAL ARTERY IN LEFT LEG, HAVE VASCULAR DISEASE , NOT IN THE BEST SHAPE, WAS AN RN, AND MY HUSBAND WAS A NEROMUSCULAR NEUROLIGIST. SORRY ABOUT SPELLING BUT USE ONLY MY RIGHT HASND TO TYPE AND SCANNER NOT WORKING. MY GUESS? NOT GOOD! AWAITING YOUR INPUT. THINK I SHOULD BE CONCERNED? I DO! THANKS, BEST I CAN EXPLAIN AT THIS POINT.
Brief Answer:
Let us wait to see the actual report of FNA.
Detailed Answer:
I can very well understand the concerns with additional history that you have provided.
Since FNA is done we can only wait till the final report is there hence no need to worry at this point of time.
No worry about the spelling mistakes, I can know what you mean by.
Liver has a ''cyst'' and must be simple hence not to worry about it.
Hence your Doctor may not be wishing to annoy you at the moment.
Please keep calm and let us see what the report says.
Take care.
