Suggest Treatment For What Looks Like Canker Sores On Lower Lip
Question: Last week I was seeing this girl who may or may not have cold sore/herpes. I kissed(hardcore) so many times on her lips.
During this week, I ate some salty french fries, salty dry fruits etc, which usually makes my lips dry, itchy, irritated.
Now week after, I have cold/canker sore on my lower lip and side of the lips. It was dry in begening so I used teeth to take dry skin off now it turned into cold/canke sore.
Can you please take a look at the pictures to identify if its a cold sore or canker sore. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
It doesn't look like a cold sore
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Cold sores have a very characteristic appearance with little fluid filled blisters. It starts as a slightly reddened small area, then the blisters appear. The blisters will rupture soon and a red area will remain until crust formation.
The picture you've uploaded is a bad quality picture without proper focusing, so I can't be sure, but what is shown does not look like a cold sore.
If you could upload a better quality picture, it would greatly help. It could also help if you told me when did the sore appear and how many days later did you take the picture.
I hope I've helped!
If you'd like more information, please contact me again.
Kind Regards!

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I've just uploaded 2 more pictures.
- The first one which is on center of lower lips was appeared on Wed or thurs which makes 5/6 days old ...
- Second which is on side of the lip was appeared yesterday. New uploaded pics were taken today..
I am thinking the one on side is food reaction, because I had a burrito that night and it sauce was making my lip (same area) very irritating/burning.. next day that area became dry, i took the skin off with my teeth and results are in pic :(
Is there any treatment for canker sore if its a canker sore?
Can intense kissing also cause canker sore if lip tissues are damaged?
Whats an average healing time for canker sore?

Brief Answer:
Probably not a cold sore
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
thanks for uploading more pictures, although the images is are very clear and I can't tell for sure. The cold sore appearance is very characteristic though and you can identify it yourself - refer to my previous answer for the details.
If it's a canker sore sometimes corticosteroids help. Applying triamcinolone 2-4 times daily, which has better results the sooner it is initiated (first 48 hours).
Injury can cause canker sores. Other potential causes include hypersensitivity to food or drugs, familial tendency, inflammatory bowel disease etc
Canker sores usually heal within a couple of weeks. No scars should be left - normally.
Kind Regards!
