Brief Answer:
Detailed respiratory assessment is required.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:
1. You have complaints of wheezing and chronic cough.
2. This requires your detailed clinical evaluation by a Pulmonary Specialist.
3. Investigations required would be spirometry and chest X-ray .
4. At present if wheezing is persistent, then you need to visit ER urgently. An immediate nebulization may be required.
5. Later a detailed evaluation as outlined above will be required. Presence of obstructive airway disease needs to be ruled out.
I hope, I have answered your query. I would be glad to answer, if there are any queries.
