Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
I studied your query and understood your health concerns.

My Impression and Suggestions-
If You were My Clinic patient,I would deal with it as follows-
-As You are with Podiatrist already and still with Non-healing foot ulcer,I would suggest You to get the FBS(fasting Blood Sugar) and PPS(Post-Prandial or post meal Sugar) and GTT(Glucose Tolerance Test) and Hb1Ac(for to find out Average Blood Sugar in last 3 months) sugar blood tests.
-Consult your Physician first and assess your blood test reports.IF he suggests then only Go to Endocrinologist.

Cause of Non-Healing Foot Ulcer/ Wound- in your case-
It could be diabetic or could be arterial supply or could be venous insufficiency with Compromised Blood Perfusion in your foot.

The Right doctor to consult would be-
Second opinion of Physician and second opinion from another - Podiatrist after blood tests.

Suggest-
Send picture for a review in next session.
Also update your recent blood sugar test reports and other tests/X-rays,if any.
Update more information like mechanical plantar stress if any / infection/ lief style and smoking habits /Exercises currently /Tight Shoes if any/ for further reply on it.

Hope this reply would help you plan further treatment with your doctor.

Welcome if any further query in this regard is there, which I would love to reply in next session.

If you find this answer helpful and satisfactory to resolve your health issue,
Will appreciate YOU,to write excellent feedback review comments,to help the needy patients like You,at HCM.

Would wait for your any further query or your excellent feedback comments.
