Suggest Treatment Recurring UTI While On Niftas And Flotral
Question: 20 days back I was admitted to the hospital for treatment of UTI. I got discharged after two days that time my Urine routine was normal. Doctor has prescribed me antibiotics for five days. After after for taking the Antibiotics for five days the UTI came again. The culture reports Report says ECOLi (esbl). Doctor has advise me injection ertapenem 7 days. I took the injection for seven days after that I have are that I did the urin test , ct scan , sonography and all report is normal.but the burning sensation and pain in the lower rental area still exist , little pain while Passing urine. doctor has given me antibiotic and I am taking from last 15 days . medication given is niftas and flotral 10 mg. still i am feeling pain and burning. Is the medicin is correct or i meed to change the madicine. Last usine routine done 5 days ago and report says 3-4 pus in wbc.

However, in some people recurrent urinary tract infections can occur and the cause of it should be identified by regular follow up investigations. I think your doctor would have already planned a follow up visit. if not I suggest you to do that and explain that you still have similar symptoms. Try to drink good amount of water which could also help in relieving symptoms.
