my face skin is very dry and I get flakes around nose and legs.
even after applying moisturiser I still have flakes on my skin.
can you please suggest?
Brief Answer:
Eumosone-M, Cetaphil cleanser, Sensibio d.s. cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi there XXXXXXX
From your history & clinical description, it does appear that you possibly ail from a condition called 'seborrheic dermatitis' also called dandruff in lay terms.
Please do try using Cetaphil only as a face cleanser & avoid all 'soap'.
In addition, I will start you on a cream called Eumosone -M locally twice/daily for a 5 day period till you get symptomatic relief & then stop after a further 2-3 days & shift to a pure moisturiser. I find this helps my patients'.
You may want to switch to a cream from Bioderma called Sensibio d.s. or a sebamed product as available near your home for a long term usage.
If in & around Bangalore, please drop in to see me at XXXXXXX Hospital. If not, please use this HCM site to visit a dermatologist near you should it persist. Cheers!
Good Luck & wish you a clear complexion.
