Suggest Treatment To Cure Red Rash On Body
Question: Almost five weeks ago i noticed a red rash around my chest, stomach as well as legs. It is still there even though gave cream to treat it. Now skin is very dry.
Hi
It is likely to be fungal infection known as Tinea Versicolor. Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination. Do send me clinical photograph for further assessment
Take care

I have been prescribed first Betaderm. That did not help so I went back to doctor. This time I got Clotrimazole GR/HC 1% CR 1:1
I do not find it is working so I went to see another doctor to get another opinion. He prescribed me Cetirizine HCL 20mg
I do not see my rash is getting much better. It has been since Sept. 3rd so one would think all should be almost gone now so that is the reason why I now contact you.

Brief Answer:
terbinafine
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
In some cases clitrimazole is resistant. You can try ointment terbinafine for 14 days.
It's highly potent and better than clitrimazole.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
