Brief Answer:
About your levothyroxine dose:
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
I have gone carefully through your concern!
In your case we have to find the proper dose of levothyroxine to improve the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
I usually recommend 50 mcg (to patients that has the TSH 8.7), fasting in the morning, with empty stomach and check the TSH level 6 weeks after.
It would be better if you report the dose you have been taking for 2 months, that caused hyperthyroidism. It would orientate us better about your levothyoxine needs.
Will be a pleasure to help you further.
Awaiting reply.
Take care,
