Suggest Treatment To Postpone The Periods
Question: My name is XXXX, 38years, female from XXXXXXX using Diane 35 for oral contraceptive and prevention of acne on a Dermatogolist's prescription. I want to postpone my period by five days. I am in the middle of the oc pack should I start a new pack of Diane 35 and finish it to postpone the periods OR take a different medicine for 5 days only and start taking new pack of Diane35 as usual?

I have read your query and understand your concern.
There is no need to take any other medicine to postpone your periods.
It can be done while taking DIANE 35.
You can delay your periods if you start your next pack of DIANE 35 immediately after you finish your current pack. You can continue this pack for as long as you wish.
Whenever you want to start your periods then you just stop using DIANE 35. The day you stop Diane,you would get your periods in next 5-7 days.
DIANE 35 is a 28 tablet pack which contains 21 active pills and 7 non hormonal placebo pills. You should start your new pack immediately after finishing 21 tablets. Those 7 pills are inactive and are not supposed to be taken if somebody wants to postpone her periods.
