Suggest Treatment To Reduce Heart Palpitations

Question: I have Atrial Fibrillation and was given Metopolilo. I have had two attacks since being on the medication. Is my only way to stop the palpitations and rapid heart beat is to go to the local ER?
Brief Answer:
Should go to ER,Digoxin to be added...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If you are currently having severe palpitations that are not being dominated by use of Metoprolol, then, should go to local ER for further evaluations. Holter monitoring is needed. Digoxin to be added in your current therapy.
If you do not have an attack now, please let me know.

Thanks. I do not have palpitations now. I have had several attacks while using Metoprolol and had to return to the ER. I was hoping there was something I could take at home to stop attack but if not, I will talk to local Cardiologist to increase dose and or add your suggestion , Digoxin.

Discuss with cardiologist to start Digoxin...
