Question: Hi,

I have delivered a baby boy on 1st May through emergency c-sec as there was no sign of labour.

After delivery, due to stress my Brest milk dried up although I followed several medicine and home remidies. Now my tummy is not reducing.

Can you please help me with any medicine for contracting uterus.

Brief Answer:
Fat

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. Uterus starts to contract and reduces completely within 3 months of delivery.

2. What you are having now is not uterus but excess fat and stretched skin acquired during Pregnancy to accommodate the baby.

3. This does not go off easily by medication. You need to follow strict diet and exercise regimen.

4. Followlow caloriediet of about 1000 calories per day as you are not feeding the baby.

5. Join a gym and excerice minimum 30 minutes daily.

6. This will reduce fat and stretched skin. Uterus is already contracted and nothing to do with this.
