Suggest Treatment To Relieve Runny Nose Without Fever In A 1 Year 8 Months Old Baby

Question: My 01yr 8month baby has running nose problem. But no fever.
Please suggest best medication and way to handle it.
We have to travel tomorrow via Train for around 24 hrs also.

Hello,

Problem of running nose for two days without fever suggest that child has probably got cold.

Since, fever is not present, chances of infection are ruled out.

In my opinion, Syrup Sinarest three times a day for 3 days needs to be given.

If there is no improvement in 24 hours or if fever is present then Crocin Syrup three times a day for 1 day and antibiotic like Cefoprox-50 three times a day for 3 days needs to be given.
