Suggest Treatment To Wean Off Lexapro

Question: I weeened myself off lexapro 10 mg daily after taking it for 11 years. I stopped taking it completely about 2 months ago. The withdrawal symptoms were terrible. The past two weeks I have been very agitated and am starting to become depressed and anxious, which is the reason I started taking it in the first place. Today I gave in and took 5 mg. My question is...Is it safe for me to resume taking it again?
Brief Answer:

Lexapro is Escitalopram and is a safe anti anxiety and anti depressant drug. If your symptoms have relapsed then you can restart the drug without worries.
Start with low dose like 5 mg in your case and increase the dose to 10 in 2 weeks if needed. Discuss with a psychiatrist for persisting symptoms.
Thanks, hope this helps you please don't hesitate to ask again for more information.
